EXCLUSIVE LADIES GETAWAY
GECKO ROCK 4X4 TRAIL, ROCK CLIMBING, ABSAILING AND CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
19 – 22 APRIL 2018
SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING SPECIAL, SOMETHING EXCITING
Here is exciting news with regard to the All Exclusive Cederberg 4x4 Ladies Getaway that will take place 19 – 22 April 2018. This will be the first time that Cederberg 4x4 will visit Gecko Rock near Touwsriver on an All Exclusive Ladies Getaway. Activities for the four days will include 4x4 driving, rock climbing combined with abseiling and clay pigeon shooting. Safety will always remain top priority in all the activities offered by Cederberg 4x4 while ensuring maximum enjoyment. All activities for the weekend will be facilitated under the watchful eye of registered instructors.
The popular and well-known Veldskoen Farm Stall on the N1 just past De Doorns is our rendezvous for the All Exclusive Cederberg 4x4 Ladies Getaway. The farm stall opens at 08h30, giving you sufficient time to browse the shop, enjoy tea/coffee and something light to eat before all the Cederberg 4x4 formalities begin.
Departing from Die Veldskoen Farm Stall we will head for Leeuwenboschfontein 4x4 where we will spend time driving and negotiating the obstacle course on the farm. This course is great fun, ensures good interaction between the ladies and teaches you to get to know the capabilities of your vehicle. This is important for when you drive the 4x4 trail at Gecko Rock.
At Gecko Rock we will be driving “The Seattle” trail on the reserve. It is not the most challenging 4x4 trail out there but it will require your undivided attention while driving the trail. Numerous obstacles will be encountered, testing your vehicle and your own capabilities. Remember safety always comes first and all 4x4 activities will be done under the watchful eye of a seasoned guide.
The rock climbing and abseiling will be presented by an experienced, qualified and registered instructor. This activity will be enjoyed by all with many chirps and laughs from the onlookers. No special clothing is required. Any short or long pants will be fine and a pair of tekkies/running shoes will suffice.
The clay pigeon shooting will be overseen by a registered instructor with safety a top priority. With this activity either teams or individuals can compete with one another, making it a very popular activity. If this is your first time clay pigeon shooting, rest assured it will not be your last.
As this trip is going to be very popular we suggest you book immediately to secure your place in line with the booking conditions below to avoid disappointment as we can only accommodate a limited number of ladies. All bookings will work strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis. Invite your friends and book now.

A TEAM consists of the participants in ONE vehicle.
Each team must have a TEAM NAME to be given through when booking.
Having received numerous requests to stop the team introduction on the Thursday evening and to no longer have the lucky draw on the Saturday evening where each lady had to bring a gift for the lucky draw, as these two factors made the ladies getaway become costly.
There will no longer be the big lucky draw on the Saturday evening and no introduction on the Thursday evening. Cederberg 4x4 will still announce the new camp captain for the next trip and maybe a surprise prize or two. These will only be announced on the Saturday.
Now no lady or team needs to spend a lot of money as an individual or as a team to enjoy the getaway.
Cederberg 4x4 will endeavour to obtain as many gifts as possible from sponsors for this ladies getaway.
